ABOUT GISELE ABRAHAO
Gisele Abrahao founded Global Vision Access Marketing and Communication in 2009. Today, GVA is a well-known and respected Marketing & Communication company in Brazil. Mrs. Abrahao has been working in the tourism industry since 2002 and has travelled to more than 55 countries, continuously assessing each nation´s sustainable tourism business opportunities.
From 2002 to 2009, Gisele Abrahao served as the Marketing & Communications Manager for the Jordan Tourism Board in North America. In this position, Mrs. Abrahao was responsible for all strategic planning, marketing and communication efforts for the Americas market, including strengthening Jordan’s activities in the USA, establishing Jordan’s tourism promotion in Canada, and initiating Jordan’s marketing strategies in South America. Following Jordan’s national tourism strategy, Mrs. Abrahao assisted the Jordanian business industry and public sector in expanding their trade, marketing and promotional efforts to new frontiers. She developed the annual action plans for the North and South America markets, coordinated all marketing, communications, and public relations activities and developed and implemented new sustainable travelling approaches for Jordan’s tourism industry, such as the highly successful program of travel volunteering called “Voluntourism” in Jordan.
Ms. Abrahao obtained her Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Marketing and Advertising in 1998 from UNIP in São Paulo, Brazil and then went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Marymount University in Arlington, VA in 2003. She is an accomplished public speaker, has broad inter-personal and inter-cultural skills, has an outstanding work ethic, and is a goal-oriented and success-driven individual.
